The APSI databank was founded with support of a grant from the Australian Research Data Commons, “Australian Poisoning Surveillance Initiative Databank
Boosting public health research with a national poisoning dataset.”

We are currently in the final stages of building the new database application. This will allow poisons centres to collect data in a harmonised way, in accordance with our new National Minimum Data Set.

The four Australian poisons centres will “go live” in a staged way, once centre at a time. The Poisons Centres will begin entering data which will flow through into the de-identified APSI databank. This website will be updated as we progress towards this goal. In time, the data requests page will be updated to facilitate data requests.
